I hate it!

I hate how I need to be in touch
With friends far and near
For I miss them oh so much
For reasons crystal clear

I hate how I don't seem to mind
Initiating, maintaining
For it's relationships that are on the line
Memories and futures worth keeping

I hate the price I have to pay
For the efforts I have placed
For at the end of the day
I am not the one with the last say

But what I hate most of all
Is the fact that I do not hate
Being the person making the calls
The person who gives and not take

Just one thing though
It is people like me
Who provides telecommunication companies their dough
Paying exorbitant fees

GAH!!! I SO HATE IT!
