Comfort Inn Robert Towns

The Comfort Inn Robert Towns is in a convenient location on the edge of the Central Business District and adjacent to government offices, Townsville City Council and all major businesses. It is only minutes to The Strand and the Magnetic Island Ferry Terminal.

A four-star property with off-street courtyard parking and spacious guest rooms on two levels, it is equipped with all the modern facilities.

They have a fully licensed restaurant and lounge bar (both of which we did not use) and an excellent conference room ideal for business meetings for groups of up to 20. 

There is a beautiful 13-metre swimming pool with shaded seating and a children's wading pool. This one, both Shriya and Xin Wen made full use of once we settled into the room. 

They also have an on-site gymnasium with air-conditioning and fans. Wireless internet is available throughout the property at a minimal cost.

I also find their concept of 'pet friendly' rooms interesting and practical.
