Lukang Minsheng Road 鹿港民生路

What is Taiwan known for? Food, especially, street food!

In Lukang, there is a road called Minsheng Road (民生路).

Why were we here? Well, other than because we had to walk through here to get to another temple, it was to just soak in the sights and sounds of this busy street...

... and also to try this:

It looks unflattering, doesn't it? Well, unflattering as it may be, its taste, on the other hand, was delicious! This is called a steamed taro ball (鹿港古早芋丸) and yes, from its look, you would be able to tell that it is not the small adorable round kind that we are well-acquainted with. This is made from not just yam but also marinated pork slices. Mouth-watering little thing, this!
