Tomorrow Showtime

Tomorrow Showtime is created by the founder of Dr Cardin, a homegrown shoe brand.

Their team consists of young creative talents from different backgrounds who wants to connect Fashion and Art. They believe that everyone is unique despite individual differences and that everyone's unique styles are expressed in our life and our character. This is reflected in their new spacious boutique in Berjaya Times Square, from interior to creative art installations, to the product to the creative designs, which are all done by their own multi-talented team.

Created by Shin Yee

They are known for their customisation work, as they have a large variety of accessories, embellishments, fabrics and so on for customers to choose from to customise their products.

They even have their own CIY Customisation Specialists to provide assistance. You could either design your own or you could just purchase pre-made one of a kind products. A Personal Stylist is available to help create a look for your occasion should you not know what suits best.

In addition to shoes, they have expanded to other accessories, such as sunnies, belts, tote bags, handbags and backpacks, which you could customise, too.

All these customisations do not just satisfy your fashion desire, they also are for a good cause because of their DESIGN with LOVE campaign. Through this campaign, a percentage of the sales for every customisation goes towards the purchase of necessities for the Handicapped and Mentally Disabled Children Association in Banting.

Inspiration for this campaign came from their angel, Min Mui, who is now 50-years-old. Min Mui is a person with Down Syndrome and dreams of becoming a front cover fashion model. The team at Tomorrow Showtime helped her achieve this dream by doing a special fashion photoshoot with her. They hope to use this campaign to raise awareness in differences, that even though we are all different, we are humans with dreams and aspirations, and that we could lend a helping hand in helping one another achieve those dreams and aspirations.

And when you get tired from too much browsing and shoe-trying, there is space in their boutique for you to enjoy a cuppa and some dessert.

On a more personal level, this place is a not merely a fashion boutique of a homegrown brand. It is the labour of love of a family that I have had the pleasure of knowing for almost 30 years. Watching the siblings overcome their differences and blossoming into the individuals that they are today really does make me feel so proud. I still cannot believe that they are all so grown up now - it was like it was just not too long ago that this young lady pictured with me below walked into our centre as a 2.5-year-old toddler.

So since it is all about supporting local now, do drop by their boutique and customise something of your own!
