S.E.A. Aquarium

The few places I remember vividly in my mind of my childhood trip to Singapore included this place, the S.E.A. Aquarium. I remembered it to be a really huge place and rightly so, not just because I was tiny back then, but also because it is the world's largest aquarium. Here are some of the more interesting underwater creatures...

I called this the Pinocchio fish!

And of course, no visit to an aquarium is complete without going through their underwater tunnel walkalator!

Skyline Luge Sentosa

Due to the excessive amount of walking to the top of the hill, we decided to take a relaxing way to return to the foot of the hill. I must have been too tired from all that physical activity because I agreed to take the Skyride.

Yes, for those who know me really well, you must be thinking, "You must be joking..."

Oh no, I did take it, alright. And boy did I regret after a few minutes...

I managed to smile but in all honesty, my whole body was shaking. I was petrified of not having both my feet on firm ground!

And firm ground was SO FAR BELOW!

On hindsight, I should have opted for the Luge instead.

Obviously, the Skyline is not for people with acrophobia. Check their website for ticket prices and age/height requirements.

Malaysian Food Street Resorts World Sentosa

A must stop when in Singapore would be Resorts World Sentosa. So many tour operators in KL organise daily tours to this place. Although Resorts World is a Malaysian company, we were still pleasantly surprised when we came across the Malaysian Food Street. Much thought would have gone into this place, as they had everything you could think of!

Spoilt for choice and you don't even need to step out of Singapore!
